Tom McLaren’s journey in real estate began long before his official start in 1984. Growing up in Hampton, NH, he was inspired by his mother, Claudette McLaren, one of the top-producing Realtors of the 1970s —an influence that shaped his path into the industry.
After college, Tom launched his career with Century 21 Junkin’s & Jackson in Hampton, NH. Following its acquisition by Century 21 Aero, he continued serving the Seacoast community until 1993, when he earned his New Hampshire broker’s license and began working independently.
In 2017, Tom joined RE/MAX On the Move, and in March 2023, he brought his experience and reputation to East Coast Group One Realty in Hampton, where he works alongside respected industry professionals, including former mentor Martha Baroody.
In addition to real estate, Tom built a successful painting contracting business with his brothers, earning the trust of Seacoast residents through quality work and long-standing relationships.
Tom has called Hampton home since 1967, raising his family and staying deeply involved in the local community. Outside of real estate, he enjoys fly fishing across the Seacoast and Northern New England, and spending time with his grandchildren—guiding the next generation of Hampton residents to value community, integrity, and long-term investment in their hometown.

Over four decades, Tom has guided families, first‑time buyers, and investors through changing markets with calm, straight‑talk advice and a focus on long‑term relationships.
